Charlotte is the woman we all want to be like or have as a best friend - a talented business owner, mother, cook, author, creative director, world traveler, recipe developer, she can really do it all! She’s also a great decorator too and wears fabulous clothes. She runs RICE, a globally recognized home brand known for happy, colorful interiors products including furniture, party goods, kitchen things, tableware and everything else you can imagine from baskets to serving spoons and vases. RICE is sold from Japan to San Francisco, with a large and loyal following in Europe. If RICE weren’t enough to manage, Charlotte felt motivated by her passion for food served with personality and love to open RICETERIA — restaurants that serve healthy, colorful food alongside RICE products all under a cheerful and playful roof.

In this podcast, Charlotte tells us why she relocated from Paris after 15 years to have her children (funny story!) in her native Denmark, how the brand got started, which products were her first to market, how travel plays a big part in her creativity, and why happiness has always been a big theme in everything she does.
